John Garza, President of JAG Specialties has over 42 years experience in Human Resources. He has successfully developed, implemented, and managed over 2,500 Affirmative Action Plans, including OFCCP desk and on-site audits.

He has investigated over 2,000 internal external employee relation’s complaints and responded to approximately 350 external EEOC Notice of Discrimination charges.

For the past four decades, Mr. Garza has been a board director of the  Arizona Industry Liaison Group (AZilg). In 2013, The Arizona Industry Liaison Group (AZilg), Officers and Board of Directors established a Lifetime Achievement Award in honor of Mr. John A. Garza,  President, JAG Specialties, LLC. Mr Garza’s dedication to the principles of equal employment opportunity/affirmative action and diversity span a period of 42 years. He has been a member of the AZilg (formerly, Arizona Affirmative Action Association aka Quad A) since 1975 and has served, as a Recording Secretary, Treasurer, Vice President, Past President and served as President of the non-profit association from 1999-2013.

Mr. Garza is also the first recipient of the John A. Garza Lifetime Achievement Award. The Award is presented to individuals who dedicate their careers to promoting and making a difference in the EEO/AA and Diversity arena through efforts that advocate and support EEO/AA and Diversity initiatives.

Mr. Garza also serves, as Chair of the Southern Nevada Industry Liaison Group (SNILG) and has also served on the National Industry Liaison (NILG) Board of Directors (1999 to 2010).
